What Makes a Good CBG Gummy?
More CBG is Better
You generally need lower doses of CBG than you do of CBD, but we’ve prioritized gummies that focus on CBG over those that just contain it. Any gummy in this list has at least 2 mg CBG, and ideally more.
Not Just CBG
The so-called “entourage effect” is a key factor to look out for. Other cannabinoids support and accentuate the effect of CBG, so here we’ve prioritized gummies that also contain CBD, CBC, CBN and other cannabinoids. THC may be restricted later this year, but we also included one full spectrum product for now.
Terpenes Help
Although terpenes are less common in gummies, these aromatic compounds also support the beneficial effects of cannabinoids. In particular, beta-caryophyllene, linalool and myrcene are good for pain relief.
We identified 59 different CBG gummies in our initial search, but only three of them scored well enough on our framework to earn a full recommendation. Here they are.

This is the only full spectrum option on this list – and we’re hoping for a broad spectrum alternative from R&R in future – but it earns the top spot largely thanks to R&R’s unmatched quality. They have control over the whole process from seed-to-sale, and they lab test every batch.
The gummies themselves are an ideal blend for pain relief. The 5 mg CBG per gummy is great, and it’s supported by a substantial 45 mg of CBD and a tiny dose of THC, just enough to boost the pain-relieving effect. They also contain the anti-inflammatory terpene myrcene.

Mellow Fellow’s Happy CBG Gummies are the best option if you’re looking for potent CBG gummies or if you just want CBG and nothing else. Using CBG isolate means they do lose out on the benefits from the entourage effect, but it also helps them stand out from the other, more CBD-focused options.
The gummies contain 50 mg of CBG each, which is huge, and the price per mg is pretty difficult to beat. Mellow Fellow gets a lot of things right: their manufacturing facilities are FDA-registered and GMP-certified, and they use the flower from organically-grown hemp for their extracts.
They’re also THC-free, which makes them a solid option for anxiety if you’re THC-sensitive, as well as for pain relief.

Premium Jane really shines for the quality of their hemp crop. Although it isn’t USDA Certified Organic, the hemp is grown organically, and it’s all sourced from a single strain at a single location in Oregon – much better than products made from bulk hemp.
The gummies are focused on CBD, but they offer 3 mg of CBG per dose. Although it’s not as high as the others on this list, this is enough to boost the effect of the CBD nicely, and still have an effect on its own. The gummies also contain smaller amounts of CBN and CBDV, offering a true broad spectrum of cannabinoids. They’re totally THC-free.
The price could be better, but the quality is excellent.

Other CBG Gummies We Considered
Our initial list contained 59 gummies with at least 2 mg of CBG, but only three of them earned our final recommendation. Most of these were discounted at an early stage. In short, any gummy we recommend has to have a publicly-available lab test from within the past 12 months, including full-panel safety testing.
Specifically, we found that:
- 24 gummies had old lab reports: After a full year in storage, even in ideal conditions, cannabinoid content degrades. That means any lab report older than one year likely doesn’t reflect the product on the shelves anymore. More likely, these brands had made new batches but didn’t make the lab tests available.
- 16 gummies weren’t fully safety tested: Full panel safety testing covers heavy metals, residual solvents, pesticides, microbial contamination and mycotoxins. Without these tests, we cannot guarantee that a gummy is safe to use and cannot recommend it.
- 11 gummies didn’t confirm their spectrum: Full or broad spectrum gummies should have four cannabinoids or more and at least be tested for terpenes. In most cases, these weren’t terpene tested.
- 5 gummies didn’t have a lab test available: Some gummies weren’t backed by a publicly-available lab report. If you have to enter a batch number to access the report, then it’s no use to customers until they’ve already paid for the gummies.
The remaining gummies were scored in full. Medterra’s Daily Delight Gummies could have technically made the list, but they were full spectrum and didn’t contain a lot of CBG. Gummies from Vena, Erth Wellness, Extract Labs and Five scored well, but not quite well enough for a recommendation.

Methodology
- Expert Insights: We used insights from our expert interviews on gummies for anxiety and pain, as well as interviews covering CBG specifically. These insights helped us choose criteria specific to CBG gummies for the remaining stages.
- Market Research and Analysis: We conducted an automated (non-AI) Bing search for “CBG gummies,” with additional terms to remove third-party lists. We took the first 160 results and any relevant internal links from the pages we landed on. We scraped the text and produced a spreadsheet, which was given to an LLM alongside our expert criteria. The model was tasked with finding up to two qualifying gummies per brand. The result was manually reviewed by Oracle staff to choose the final options and locate their most recent lab reports.
- Qualifying and Scoring: We went through the process outlined in the previous section, and then scored any qualifying gummies on our Cannabinoid Product Quality Evaluation Framework. Any gummies scoring over 80% were eligible for inclusion in the final list.
- Final Ranking: The final ranking was based on the framework score, but also accounted for the upcoming hemp THC ban and the quantity of CBG in the gummy.

Does CBG Show Up in a Drug Test?
CBG products that are completely THC-free will not show up on a drug test. Drug tests are checking for THC metabolites, not CBD. Thus, it will not be detectable and will not make you fail. The cannabinoid is non-psychoactive, after all.
