R&R CBD Review

R&R CBD (formerly R+R Medicinals) is a veteran-owned and operated CBD company. They offer a wide variety of products at surprisingly high potencies — but the prices don’t reflect that.

R&R CBD’s packaging and labels may seem a little rustic, but the brand is easily one of the most well-organized, informative companies I’ve come across in quite some time. You won’t have any issue finding ingredient or extraction information, and their third-party lab-test results are always available and up-to-date. R&R CBD uses a supercritical CO2 extraction method for their broad and full-spectrum products, but I really didn’t mind.

The flavors of these products are all a bit strong, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t shake. Overall, the experience that R&R CBD brought me was far more beneficial than I had initially predicted.

• While I absolutely loved the spread of CBD products I got from R&R CBD, my dog couldn’t have been happier with the CBD dog chews. These chews smelled great, and they didn’t give off any medicinal or chemical smells — thank goodness. She loved the taste, and I could tell they started working within about 30 minutes, as she became much more at ease. With their all-natural ingredients, these are CBD dog treats I could see myself buying regularly.

R&R Full-Spectrum CBD Gummies

R&R’s full-spectrum CBD gummies are both potent and fun to eat; after all, they’re not your typical gummy: they’re gummy rings! Each container comes with 30 gummies, and every gummy contains 30 mg of full-spectrum CBD to help provide you with full-bodied, all-encompassing effects. The gummies come in a nice packaging that’s easy to open and keeps your gummies safe and sound during transit. You can buy these from R&R’s website today for $53.

The multi-flavored R&R CBD full-spectrum gummies are incredibly enjoyable to consume when it comes to both flavor and experience. The gummies themselves have a nice texture and decent flavor that hides the hemp nicely. The strong CBD extract kicks in about an hour later, creating feelings of relaxation and comfort. That being said, these gummies are definitely ideal for pain and stress-relief; however, they’re not too sleepy, either. While some CBD gummies are best consumed in the evening, you can easily enjoy these gummies at any time of the day for long-lasting relief and comfort. 

R&R Full-Spectrum CBD Tincture (Fresh Mint)

The Fresh Mint CBD tincture from R&R smells and tastes like, well, mint! This minty fresh tincture is a lower-potency formula that is ideal for beginners who are just starting out in the world of CBD and may want to slowly move up to something more potent. This tincture contains 1,000 mg of full-spectrum CBD, but you can also buy a 2,500 mg or even a 5,000 mg option depending on your personal tolerance level.

Highlights

Even though the 1000 mg Fresh Mint CBD tincture from R&R is marketed as a low-potency tincture, I still found a lot of support — even despite my high tolerance levels. This tincture is definitely minty and may not be good for those who don’t enjoy that kind of refreshing note.

However, when added into tea, this CBD tincture is hardly even noticeable. I found that a full dose kicked in after about 20 minutes, leaving me feeling balanced out and more positive about the day. The results were somewhat subtle, but I was still surprised by how much better I felt even about two hours after my dose. If you have a higher tolerance, the 2,500 mg or even 5,000 mg tincture may be the best choice for you. 

R&R Full-Spectrum CBD Softgels

CBD softgels are a quick, easy way to get your dose of CBD, and R&R’s softgels are no different. These capsules come in a 34-count bottle, with each capsule containing 15 mg of full-spectrum CBD. You can also choose the higher strength option of 30 mg per softgel if you have chronic conditions or a higher tolerance. Right now, R&R is selling their CBD softgels for $35 – $55.

Whether you need help with pain, sleep, or stress, R&R’s softgels are an easy way to get a dose of relief. These capsules don’t smell or taste like anything — especially not like hemp — so you don’t have to worry about any unpleasant consumption. The 30 mg option is ideal for those who want to sleep throughout the night or feel pain relief all day, while the 15 mg option is a bit better for internal balance and calm. Regardless, these softgels do work well; but, you will have to wait about 45 minutes to start to feel the effects, so make sure you’re patient.

R&R CBD Pain Cream

R&R’s CBD Pain Cream is made specifically to help reduce inflammation, promote relaxation, and fight localized pain. You can buy this topical in either 1,000 mg or 2,000 mg depending on the severity of your pain, and the price will range from $50 – $70. By including ingredients like Arnica montana, MSM, calendula flower, and jojoba, this CBD cream works ideally for deep-seated aches and pains in even your most stubborn, hard-to-reach areas.

Highlights

With the extra-strength 2,000 mg option available, this CBD pain cream really is meant for everyone. Like their other CBD cream, this topical doesn’t include any menthol, and nor do they have any artificial fragrances or dyes. The CBD pain cream is quite organic and relies solely on the beauty of natural ingredients to have your muscles and joints feeling better.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the application of this topical, but the results kicked in fast, making me forget about the slightly greasy residue. The 1,000 mg pain cream was ideal for after my workouts when my muscles and joints need the most support, making me think that this is a great product to keep in your gym bag.
