Pop-Up Potcorn is a trendy cannabis brand that makes three different blends of cannabis-infused popcorn, or “potcorn” as they call it. Many cannabis-users have been making their own infused popcorn at home for a while, but Pop-Up makes it a bit more convenient, and eliminates the need for making your own cannabutter or oil.

Pop-Up takes great pride in using quality ingredients, and each bag of their popcorn is organic, non-GMO, and Fair Trade, made with California popcorn, organic palm oil, and Pacific Ocean Sea Salt.

Pop-Up Potcorn is a fun product due to its inherent shareable nature. The brand has a THC-heavy blend designed to leave you feeling “Buzzed,” in addition to a CBD-heavy blend intended to “Relax” and a 1:1 CBD to THC “Balance” blend. I found their products to be effective and convenient.

The brand sticks with sea salt as the flavor for each variety, which only means it’s a blank canvas for whatever other toppings you’d want to sprinkle on top! Each bag costs $12, which is a bit steep for popcorn, but the convenience factor can’t be ignored.

Highlights
For this review, I was able to try the THC-heavy popcorn in Pop-Up’s lineup, which has 10mg per serving. The “Relax” blend has 20mg CBD and 1mg THC per serving, and the “Balance” blend has 5mg each. The flavor of the popcorn was really tasty. I wouldn’t say it was unique, but I definitely struggled to keep myself from inhaling the whole bag in two seconds. Luckily the dosage is fairly low, so you can really eat the whole bag and enjoy it. Pop-Up’s packaging is extremely trendy and inviting, making them the obvious choice for anyone wanting a low maintenance bag of cannabis-infused popcorn.

Editor’s Pick

  • While we weren’t able to try them for this review, Pop-Up Potcorn also makes two other blends – one CBD-heavy blend, and the other an equal 1:1 ratio. However, the THC blend is meant for more social gatherings, and is the perfect snack to have out at any get-together.

Sea Salt THC-Infused Popcorn (10mg)

Pop-Up Potcorn’s THC blend is meant to get you feeling “buzzed.” Perfect for a movie night in with friends, this product really aims to bring some excitement to snack time. Since this cannabis-infused popcorn is an ingestible edible, it has to be processed by both the digestive system and then the liver before feeling its effects – this means you might not feel the effects for 1-2 hours.

Each bag of popcorn runs for about $12, and each bag is considered one dose. Based on the price, you might not want to replace all of your popcorn consumption with this brand, but it’s perfect when you have friends over and want to impress.

Product Summary

Pop-Up Potcorn developed their THC popcorn blend with the intentions of it giving you the perfect buzz to enjoy a movie night with friends, and I couldn’t think of a more accurate description for this product! I enjoyed my popcorn on a mini movie night at home, and it was the perfect snack to munch on while watching a flick. The popcorn does take 1-2 hours to take effect so, if you want to be feeling the buzz by showtime, I suggest a pre-movie munchie sesh. The flavor of the popcorn itself was pretty good – I wouldn’t say it was anything mind blowing. It tasted like average popcorn, and could have used a touch more oil and salt.
