Bhang Chocolate has a wide variety of chocolates at various strengths perfect for a wide range of cannabis users. “Bhang Nation” includes a diverse family of cannabis brands, with their namesake Bhang Chocolate taking the forefront.
The company has won several awards for their products dating back to 2010, including Best Cannabis Chocolate from 2019 Weedcon. Bhang is a veteran in the industry who has used their experience to create a vast product line, with a presence in four states, and another four on the way. For the purposes of this review, we focused on their 50/50 CBD Caramel variety.
Bhang also offers a line of THC-free CBD products. You can check out their CBD line at: bhangcbd.com.
TL;DR – Bhang is a trusted and tested brand, perfect for getting your feet wet with cannabis edibles.

- The 1:1 CBD Caramel bar is the only CBD/THC combo product Bhang sells, which makes it the most valuable in my eyes!
Bhang 1:1 CBD Caramel Chocolate
CBD Caramel is one of the only chocolate bars Bhang sells that is a mix of CBD and THC. This product is sold in a full-size bar with 100mg CBD and 100mg THC per package, in addition to single dose packages with 5mg CBD and 5mg THC each.
Due to it being a fairly well-known brand with the means for all the bells and whistles when it comes to testing, Bhang is a good brand to jump into if you are new to cannabis or to edibles. This particular product is good for a wide variety of activities, whether it’s laughing your butt off at a funny movie with snacks on the couch, or a fun concert out with friends. I wouldn’t use this product for sleep – it’s more of a traditional edible vibe, or something you eat to prolong your high.
Product Summary
In my opinion, Bhang is pretty run-of-the-mill when it comes to cannabis-infused chocolate. The quality of chocolate is decent and rich, but the caramel notes taste fake and chemically, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. The effects are desirable, but only after you’ve figured out your ideal dose, which can take some trial and error. Since this product is a food cannabis edible, it also takes about an hour to an hour and a half to kick in. This contributes to the difficulty in finding your ideal dose, since the high doesn’t take effect immediately. Be careful eating more just because it hasn’t hit you yet. I think this product is fine for the inexperienced user, but if you’re a cannabis connoisseur, there are other brands out there with better flavor.
