Dr. Dabber is a vaporizer brand that’s all about the concentrates — if that wasn’t obvious from the name.
Concentrates have been around, yet CBD-based ones are becoming more and more popular. Concentrates are a highly potent form of cannabidiol or tetrahydrocannabinol, most are found in a pre-filled cartridge already attached or meant to be attached to a vape pen. You take a few puffs every time you want to dose, with effects typically felt almost instantly.
They’ve released an impressive line of CBD cartridges paired with their signature 510-thread battery. These are the brand’s only CBD products, but they sure seem to do them right: reviews surrounding Dr. Dabber are raving. And I agree! I was pleasantly surprised by not only the quality of the vapes themselves but the quality of most CBD blends, too.
Unfortunately, Dr. Dabber doesn’t provide much information about their hemp extraction, besides that it’s grown in the USA. As a company that doesn’t have any other CBD products, they need to be more transparent about ingredients and extraction processes. Also, their potencies are on the lower side which can be a deterrent for experienced users. That being said, this brand is ideal for newer CBD-lovers who only need a few puffs to feel their best.

- Though a little pricey, I found that the best way to experience all of Dr. Dabber at once is through their CBD Tester Tower. This tower of CBD comes with all four of the brand’s signature cartridges for you to try. You can pair these with any 510-thread battery, but Dr. Dabber’s are going to work best. I found that, though mild, these CBD carts are definitely ideal for the newer, casual smoker, as my effects were gentle yet supporting.
Dr. Dabber CBD Pen: Robust Blend
Dr. Dabber makes their premium Robust Blend with all-natural botanical terpenes to bring out flavors of bourbon, herbs, and terroir. (If you’re not a fan of earthy flavors, this is a blend to stay away from.)
Immediately, I was enchanted by the dark purple color pattern, reminding me of the rich flavors I’m vaping. The pen contains 250mg of broad-spectrum CBD, so I found myself taking quite a few hits to get effects. Results were mild and gentle; I could’ve benefitted from a stronger dose, but many beginners will likely love this Robust cartridge and battery combo.

In the mouth, the earthy flavors are quite strong, but they’re wonderful for those who enjoy an herbaceous profile. Dr. Dabber CBD Pen: Original Blend
Dr. Dabber’s Original Blend was not what I was expecting, to say the least. With all of their other blends being named after the flavors they produce, I expected their “original” blend to be somewhat natural or even totally unflavored– but I was wrong.
This blend is actually super citrusy, almost overwhelmingly sweet. Because of the flavors, I couldn’t stand to take more than a few hits at a time, leaving me with little to no effects. Of course, this is probably because of my high tolerance, but I was hoping to experience some sort of results. Unfortunately, this one really dropped the ball.

Dr. Dabber’s Original Blend is an ultra-citrusy CBD blend that’s quite overpowering in the mouth. The vape-cartridge combo is still made well and boasts a pretty light blue color, but the positives stop there. Even for those with sweet tooths, this blend is way too overwhelming. Dr. Dabber’s Citrus Blend cartridge and pen combo is miles above their citrus-flavored Original Blend. This blend actually produces refreshing, bright notes of orange and cherry blossoms, pairing perfectly with the hemp infused inside.
I loved the flavor so much that I took about five hits and felt incredible after about 10 minutes. My mind was in a peaceful, steady place and my muscles’ tense nature totally melted away. Out of all of Dr. Dabber’s blends, this is easily their best.
